- We had the
pleasure of working together for nearly four months on
my severe problem--neck,back,pelvis,left hip and knee.
You did many injections and manipulations. You also
helped me plan more intelligently for the future by
your positive concepts with insightful
recommendations, among them chelation therapy of which
we did about twenty sessions. You further made a
special flying trip to Cambridge at my request to
treat my wife Lorea, then in the hospital near death
with cancer after terrible pain and operations. I
find myself now much stronger, more painfree, and
generally moving better then when we began our work
this past March. You said another year, possibly
two, will be needed with exercises, supplements, and
proper foods to realize the optimum condition you feel
I can indeed achieve. You have been of considerable
inspiration toward implanting or at the least
reinforcing my own deeper realization toward this
happier fulfillment of the condition I seek.
My
wife Lorea , thanks certainly to the spirit and
efforts you and others conveyed to her, she is now out
of the hospital gaining weight, getting stronger, free
of pain, being filled each day with more life and
health.
Thank
you Haven O'More Lorea

In December 2000, while
walking on concrete, my left ankle fractured
with the result that my right knee hit the concrete
walk, shattering the right patella. In January, 2001,
surgery involving a wire wrap around the patella was
performed to repair the damage. In March 2001, the
wire was removed in another surgical procedure. In
April during physical therapy, the patella
refractured. From June until December 2001, I
used a bone stimulator device to promote bone healing,
with no success. In June 2002, still having no bone
healing and a lot of pain, I consulted a pain
management specialist who numbed the knee's
nerves, affording only two weeks relief. In October I
consulted my doctor regarding continuing severe pain
in the right leg. A venus dopler procedure indicated a
blood clot in the right groin area, and I was
hosptitalized for a week. Blood thinners were
prescribed to be used for a period of three
months
- Finally, in November 2002, on
the advice of friends in the Roanoke area, I visited
Dr. Joan Resk to get an opinion on what, if anything,
could be done to alleviate my constant pain and
weakness. Dr. Resk took x-rays, including the pelvic
area which had not been previously examined. The
x-rays showed that the right side of the pelvis was
1/2 inch higher than the left side. This indicated
that blood flow was restricted to my right leg,
hindering bone recovery, and also showed lumbar
scoliosis concave right. State of the art blood work
was performed, which had not been done previously,
indicating deficiencies and toxicities, which are
being corrected with supplements.
- Dr. Resk performed Osteopathic
Manipulation Therapy. After my first visit to Dr.
Resk, I was pain free for the first time in two years.
Ozone therapy was applied to the the right knee to
restore oxygen and to promote bone growth. After 9 OMT
treatments, together with Ozone Therapy, my knee feels
and functions as if I had never had a problem. I am
very fortunate, and happy, to have found Dr. Resk.

- My name is Mary Cummings and I
am from Martinsville
Va. I have been seeing Dr.
Joan Resk for 3 years now and I believe that I
would not be here today if not for Dr. Joan. I have
never liked going to doctors or anything to do with
the medical profession. Dr. Joan M Resk has
truly saved my life. I know the difference between
a doctor and those that call themselves
Doctors! Thank you Mary Cummings RPH since
1958
- My name is Julie Zeason

my right foot and the deposits or whatever-broke
loose which felt like the top of my foot was broke.
I appreciate all you've have done for me and I
thank God for helping me find you 15 years ago and
last year.I just wanted to thank you and your staff
for being so nice, It was well worth the
long trip.
Thank you again Julie

- Hi, my name is
Ken and in August 2001 I had an angioplasty. I had a
99%
blockage in the main artery that
runs down the front of the heart. The
angioplasty was a success and I felt great after
the procedure. The day after the
procedure my cardiologist took me and my wife to see
the films from the Angiogram that had
been taken prior to the procedure and he was
showing us that I had a number of
minor blockages. The angiogram was very
clear to see and you did not have to be a
cardiologist to see the primary blockage or
the minor ones. I asked what I had to do to get rid of
the other blockages, he said in effect,
that if they become more blocked then we'll
need to go in and open them up as well. I was a bit
taken and disturbed by the reply, but
he was a very qualified and highly regarded Doctor in
our community and I was sure that he'd
given me all the options available. However
while I was home and had some time on my hands I began
looking into alternate forms of treatment
and remembered that I'd been told of chelation
therapy at Easter while visiting my family
in South Carolina. The more I read
about the therapy the more I wanted to look into it. I
contacted Dr. Resk and made an appointment
and she recommended the treatment. I
have had the whole
series of thirty treatments and the difference it has
made with me has been remarkable. I had a
follow up heart scan about three months ago
and was told by my cardiologist that I had
the blood flow around my heart of a thirty
year old, not bad for a forty-six year old. Those were
his exact words. The angioplasty saved my
life, but I give credit to chelation for
getting the rest of the arteries opened up and keeping
them that way. Thank You Dr.
Resk!
